Sexual battery is the unwanted, offensive touching of a person’s private parts (breasts, buttocks, genitals) by another. It is often referred to as “rape” or “sexual assault.” It can occur in an employment setting, social setting or it can be inflicted by a stranger.
It can result in years of therapy for those impacted. Law enforcement may or may not take action on a claim of sexual battery. That does not impact whether we can sue the perpetrator (and possibly his/her employer) for it.
If you have been sexually assaulted, contact us and we’ll evaluate your claim at no cost.
