The Minnesota Whistleblower Act protects employees from retaliation based on their reports of/objections to unlawful workplace misconduct.  Examples of whistleblower retaliation include reduced pay, transfer, intimidation, harassment, demotion, removal of job responsibilities, and even termination.

Examples of protected conduct include (but are not limited to) reports of illegal activity and refusing to engage in illegal activity.
