I have always loved animals. Their innocence and sincerity has always captivated me. They are the most vulnerable individuals and they need our compassion and protection. Therefore, I have consistently been involved, both via direct hands on work and through financial and other means, with animal rights and rescue causes.

I started an animal rescue group in my basement while I was a college student, actually taking in homeless animals and finding them new homes. I also founded an animal rights organization to fight for the rights of non-human animals and promote education about cruelty to animals.

Since college, I have remained active in animal rights and rescue work, financing various organizations and directly saving animals on death row. I'm also a long time vegan, refusing to eat, wear or otherwise participate in the harming of animals.
